Supporting Armenia’s CBD COP Presidency and Domestic Implementation

The Supporting Armenia’s CBD COP Presidency and Domestic Implementation project is designed to contribute to the activities of the Fridtjof Nansen Institute (FNI) in support of the preparations for the 17th Conference of Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP17). Implementation period: 01 August 2025 – 31 December 2028

Project Objectives:

  • Mainstreaming of gender equality in Armenia’s NBSAP
  • Increased involvement of CSOs in environmental matters in Armenia
  • Improved environmental justice in Armenia

Project Activities:

Analysis and recommendations on mainstreaming gender equality in Armenia’s NBSAP across the Action plan targets. 

Participation at workshops and in project dialogue on monitoring of NBSAP implementation 

Analyses related to environmental justice and domestic legislation in Armenia
